Birkenhead Point is a popular harbourside shopping centre and factory outlet
in Drummoyne. Part of the complex is Birkenhead Point Marina whcih is a floating
Marina comprising of 187 Berths located at the entrance to Iron Cove Bay and
adjacent to the Parramatta River, 10 minutes by road or water to the Sydney
CBD and a 30 minute boat ride to Sydney Heads.

Sydney has to offer. Located on the shores of Sydney harbour! The Drummoyne
Swim Centre is a river fed outdoor heated swimming venue consisting of a 8
lane 50m pool measuring 1.2 metres at the shallowest point and 2 metres at
its deepest. Suitable for Water Polo, Leisure Swimming and Lap Swimming is
available during most operating hours, please refer to the timetable for availability.

Sydney Harbour Trust's Cockatoo Island, Cockatoo Island is the largest island
in Sydney Harbour it is located a short boating distance from Drummoyne. It
is located at the junction where Sydney Harbour turns into the Parramatta
and Lane Cove rivers. It is rich in Sydney convict history, and makes for
a very interesting visit for any tourists wanting to see Sydney Harbours History.

The Drummoyne Sailing Club regularly races a large fleet of 16ft skiffs, Hartley
TS16 trailer sailers, Juniors in Sabots and a Yacht division that hosts Tuesday
night non-spinnaker Twilight races in summer, Summer Sunday races (spinnaker)
and Winter Sunday races (spinnaker). A brand new Waterfront club building
was completed in 2001. A spectacular restaurant is positioned on the top floor
of the club taking full advantage of the 'million dollar view' and their is
a deck on the middle level, an ideal place to watch the summer racing in front
of the club.
